Blockages, sewers & storm lines
Slow drains, backups and sewer trouble. We clear the blockage, then find out why it happened so it doesn't happen again next month.
Anyone can push a blockage through. The useful question is why it formed. A kitchen line that blocks every few months usually has grease build-up or a belly in the pipe; a main line that backs up repeatedly often has root intrusion or a collapsed section.
We clear drains with a powered auger or high-pressure jetting depending on the line and the blockage, and we can put a camera down the line afterwards to show you the actual condition of the pipe. That's how you tell a one-off clog from a pipe that needs repairing.
Older Calgary neighbourhoods with mature trees see a lot of root intrusion in clay sewer lines. If that's what's going on, we'll show you the footage rather than just tell you.
Worth a call
None of these mean disaster on their own, but they're the point where a small repair is still a small repair. Left alone, most of them get more expensive.
