24/7 Emergency Service — Call 403-966-7059

Heating that holds up to a Calgary winter

Your furnace does more work here than in almost any other Canadian city — long heating season, hard temperature swings, and chinooks that make a system cycle far more than it was designed to. That workload shows up as wear.

We repair and replace forced-air furnaces, boilers and hydronic systems, and we service them before the season rather than during it. A furnace that gets a proper annual service runs cheaper, lasts longer, and is much less likely to quit on the coldest night of the year.

If your system is genuinely at the end of its life we'll say so, and we'll explain the trade-offs between repairing and replacing rather than pushing you towards the bigger invoice.

Worth a call

Signs your heating needs attention

  • Rooms heating unevenly, or one room never warming up
  • Short cycling — turning on and off far more than it used to
  • Banging, rattling, screeching or booming on start-up
  • Gas bills climbing without a change in the weather
  • A yellow rather than blue burner flame
  • A system over 15 years old that's needed several repairs
  • Any carbon monoxide alarm activation — leave and call immediately

None of these mean disaster on their own, but they're the point where a small repair is still a small repair. Left alone, most of them get more expensive.

How it works

Our process

  1. Safety check first

Combustion, venting and gas connections before anything else.

  2. Find the fault

We test rather than guess, so you're not paying for parts you didn't need.

  3. Repair or replace

An honest comparison of both, with the price for each.

  4. Service and set up

Cleaned, tuned, and the thermostat set so it runs efficiently.

Questions

Common questions

Do you offer emergency furnace repair in Calgary?
Yes, 24/7. A no-heat call in winter is treated as urgent because of the risk of pipes freezing.
How often should a furnace be serviced?
Once a year, ideally in early autumn before the heating season starts. Annual servicing keeps efficiency up and catches worn parts before they fail in the cold.
Should I repair my furnace or replace it?
It depends on age, repair history and efficiency. As a rough guide, if it's over 15 years old and the repair is a large fraction of replacement cost, replacement usually makes more sense. We'll show you the numbers for your situation.
Do you work on boilers and in-floor heating?
Yes. We service and install boilers and hydronic systems as well as forced-air furnaces.
My furnace keeps turning on and off. What's wrong?
Short cycling has several possible causes, including a clogged filter, an oversized unit, a faulty flame sensor or a thermostat problem. Try a fresh filter first, and if it continues, book a diagnostic.
